Begin with your responsibility

Find the questions that protect your decision.

Hospital equipment decisions are shared, but accountability is not identical. Start with the concerns you carry into the room.

Purchase department

Build a defensible comparison.

Scope, alternatives, commercial clarity and fewer surprises between quotation and installation.

Then go deeper.

Every route begins with the decision context. Product pages explain what we can help with, the questions we start with and the adjacent dependencies worth considering.

Editorial photographs are representative and are not presented as XtraCare installations or current inventory. Approved XtraCare project photography will replace them progressively.

Capability map

One requirement can cross several workstreams.

Use this map to find the most relevant starting point. Exact brands, models, availability and authorization are confirmed before any recommendation.

Diagnostic imaging environment with radiography, CT and installation support

From requirement to working system

Capability should feel calm.

The team should not have to discover critical dependencies after a commercial decision has already been made.

  1. 01

    Understand the use

Applications, patient volume, users, current setup, budget and timeline.

  2. 02

    Frame the pathways

New, upgraded or refurbished—with relevant trade-offs made clear.

  3. 03

    Map dependencies

Room, shielding, power, logistics, installation and ownership.

  4. 04

    Define the handover

Proposal scope, exclusions, support expectations and next actions.

Refurbished, responsibly

The saving matters only when the clinical confidence survives it.

A responsible discussion considers required applications, equipment context, room readiness, logistics, installation and the exact support commitment together.

  • Fit for the intended clinical work
  • System and proposal scope made explicit
  • Site, relocation and installation dependencies
  • Warranty and service terms stated specifically
How we frame refurbished decisions ↗

Trust through clarity

Do not ask the visitor to trust an adjective.

Trust grows when scope is specific, trade-offs are visible, responsibilities are named and every business credential can be substantiated.

Frequently considered

Questions worth asking before you decide.

View the full FAQ ↗
Should our hospital choose CR or move to DR?

The answer depends on volume, desired turnaround, current generator and workflow, budget and readiness for change. The existing environment should be assessed before a route is recommended.

When does a refurbished CT or MRI make sense?

When clinical applications, patient load, equipment context, infrastructure and a defined support plan align. Purchase price alone is not a responsible basis.

What information improves the first recommendation?

Location, modality, clinical use, expected volume, current equipment, room status, timeline, budget context and whether new or refurbished options are open.

Can XtraCare coordinate RF shielding and room readiness?

RF shielding and selected room dependencies can be discussed as part of the imaging requirement. Exact scope and responsibility should be documented in the proposal.

How is warranty handled?

Warranty and service terms vary by system, condition and proposal. They should be stated specifically rather than treated as a universal promise.

Can you support installation and relocation?

Installation, de-installation, relocation and site coordination can be scoped where applicable, with responsibilities and exclusions clarified before commitment.

Can international buyers enquire?

Yes. Product availability, documentation, logistics, destination installation, warranty handling and local support must be confirmed case by case.
